Black River Health announces opening date for new community pharmacy

Black River Health has announced it will open Black River Health Pharmacy, starting operations on October 1, 2025. The new pharmacy will be located at the current site of Black River Falls Clinic Pharmacy.

Barb Hagenbrock, owner and pharmacist of Black River Falls Clinic Pharmacy, said, “Since 1973, Black River Falls Clinic Pharmacy has been proud to serve our community. I’m confident that Black River Health will carry on our tradition of excellent customer service. As one of your hometown pharmacists, I look forward to continuing to care for our patients at Black River Health Pharmacy and ensuring a smooth transition together.”

The new pharmacy aims to work closely with other services provided by Black River Health in order to offer accessible and patient-centered care.

Dr. Michelle Clark-Forsting, Chief Physician Executive of Black River Health, stated, “As a physician, I know how important it is for patients to have consistent, trustworthy access to their medications. I’m confident that this transition will maintain the high standard of care our community deserves.”

Black River Health says it will continue its commitment to serving the community and providing local pharmacy services.
