High school students entering grades nine through twelve in the fall of 2026 are invited to audition for theatre productions at Kenosha Unified School District high schools, according to a May 4 announcement. Auditions will be held at Bradford High School, Tremper High School, and Indian Trail High School and Academy on different dates in early June.

The district said students may attend auditions at any location, regardless of their current school. This open policy allows greater flexibility for participants interested in musical theatre or straight plays.

At Bradford High School, auditions for musical theatre will take place on June 1 from 4 to 7 p.m., followed by straight play auditions from 7 to 8 p.m. Tremper High School will hold its musical theatre auditions on June 2 from 4 to 8 p.m., while Indian Trail High School and Academy is scheduled for June 3 from 4 to 8 p.m. Students wishing to audition must prepare a one-minute monologue and a one-minute song performed a cappella for musicals. For straight plays at Bradford only, students should prepare two contrasting one-minute monologues. The district notes that auditions for musicals and straight plays must be done separately and that Tremper’s straight play auditions will occur during the school year.

Indian Trail High School and Academy had the largest student enrollment among Kenosha County schools in the most recent academic year with a total of 2,001 students, according to state data. This figure represents a 1.1% increase over the previous year as reported by state education officials.

Students or families with questions about the process are encouraged to contact Kristen Singer via email at ksinger@teachers.kusd.edu or sign up online using the registration link provided by the district.
