Steve Cortes, the president and founder of the League of American Workers (LAW), said poll results released by his organization show Wisconsinites are feeling the impact of the Biden Administration’s border policies.

“Wisconsin is a key battleground state where it’s difficult to find supermajorities on political issues,” Cortes told The Sconi. “Yet, more than 2/3s of Wisconsin voters agree that Biden’s administration totally fails to secure the border, with disastrous consequences for places far away from the border itself.”

“From fentanyl overdose deaths to totally preventable crimes committed by illegal aliens, Wisconsin citizens suffer the fallout of the Biden-Harris open border,” said Cortes.

70% of Wisconsin voters think the federal government is weak at securing the U.S. borders, according to results of a new poll of Arizona voters released by Cortes’ organization.

The poll also found that 56% of Wisconsin voters think Biden’s border policies are to blame for crimes like an illegal alien’s February 22 murder of University of Georgia nursing student Laken Riley.

58% of voters think Biden’s policies are to blame for drug overdose deaths in the Badger State, many of which are a result of the drug fentanyl, which is being smuggled into the U.S. from Mexico.

Former President Donald Trump and Biden are tied in the 2024 race for the White House, according to the poll results.

The survey was conducted among 600 likely Wisconsin voters on April 6-9, 2024 by North Star Public Opinion Research.

He has been an on-air broadcaster for CNBC, Fox News, and CNN. Cortes founded LAW in 2022 to conduct research and develops proposals on public policies impacting American workers and the economy.
