Wisconsin Powerball players are experiencing a streak of luck with a $50,000 winning ticket sold at Kwik Trip on 6300 S. 27th St. in Oak Creek for the July 14 drawing. Over the past two weeks, Wisconsin has seen five big wins, including three $50,000 and two $2 million tickets.

The latest winner matched four of five numbers (8-12-45-46-63) and the Powerball (24). Nationwide, there were 12 winners of $50,000 in this draw. In Wisconsin alone, there were 4,627 winners with prizes ranging from $4 to $50,000.

Kwik Trip in Oak Creek is no stranger to lottery success. Last month it sold a winning $25,000 scratch ticket and has previously sold other significant winning tickets.

Retailers selling tickets over $599 receive a two percent incentive up to $100,000. Winners have 180 days to claim their prize information available on wilottery.com or through the Lottery’s mobile app.

Powerball draws occur every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 9:59 p.m., with an estimated jackpot of $264 million for the upcoming Wednesday draw. Tickets cost $2 per play with an optional Power Play feature for an additional dollar.

The odds of winning the jackpot are approximately one in 292 million while winning a $50,000 prize stands at about one in 913 thousand.
