Rep. Gwen Moore, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Wisconsin’s 4th district, has expressed concerns over various issues through a series of tweets. Moore has been a congressional representative since 2005 and previously served in the Wisconsin State Assembly and Senate.

On February 17, 2025, Rep. Gwen Moore addressed concerns from her constituents regarding access to their sensitive information by an “unelected billionaire donor.” She mentioned that both she and Rep. Judy Chu sought answers on behalf of those affected. “My constituents want to know why an unelected billionaire donor had accessed their sensitive information. @repjudychu and I sought answers for them.”

In another tweet dated February 18, 2025, Moore criticized former President Donald Trump for giving what she described as “free reign” to Elon Musk, suggesting that such actions pose a threat to national security. “Unelected. Unqualified. Unprecedented.Donald Trump giving free reign to Elon Musk is a threat to national security.”

Later on February 18, Moore highlighted the importance of independent restaurants and farmers in building a sustainable food system during her visit to her district. She discussed with local individuals named Anna and Sandy about the impacts of Trump’s tariffs on their livelihoods and how SNAP supports local farmers.“Independent restaurants & farmers play an essential role in building a sustainable food system.Today, in my district, I spoke with Anna & Sandy about the impacts of Trump’s Tariffs on their livelihoods, and how SNAP supports our local farmers.”
