Wisconsin U.S. Senator Ron Johnson said President Joe Biden’s border policy is a “danger to America” that needs to be addressed before a terror attack takes place in the United States.

“I’ve been saying for years that POTUS and the Democrats’ catastrophic open border policy is a clear and present danger to America,” Johnson said in a post on X. “The ISIS attack in Moscow has awakened some — will it take a horrific terror attack here to cause Biden to finally secure our border? I hope not.

“He has the authority, he simply refuses to use it,” Johnson said.

The recent attack in Moscow, which occurred on Friday, March 22, has a death toll of at least 137 individuals, including three children. Over 150 more were injured when four gunman entered Crocus City Hall just before a band was set to start their performance, the Washington Post reports.

ISIS took responsibility for the attack. Russian President Vladmir Putin has attributed the attack to “international terrorism.” Putin declared a day of mourning for the country on Sunday, March 24.

Eleven people, including the four gunmen, were detained after fleeing the attack and moving towards the Bryansk region. The Federal Security Service of Russian said the gunmen were captured near the Russia-Ukrainian border, and had contacts in Ukraine, according to an Al Jazeera article.

This was the deadliest attack on Russian soil since 2004.
