The University of Wisconsin-Stout will hold its spring commencement for 1,067 graduates on May 16. The ceremonies will take place at Johnson Fieldhouse and are divided into three sessions: the College of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics & Management at 9:30 a.m., the College of Arts & Human Sciences at 1:30 p.m., and Graduate Studies at 5 p.m. Those unable to attend in person can watch via livestream on the UW-Stout commencement website or at the Memorial Student Center.
The event is significant as it marks an important milestone for students completing their studies in both undergraduate and graduate programs. Provost Glendalà RodrÃguez will host each ceremony, while Chancellor Katherine Frank will address graduates and confer degrees.
Bryan Albrecht, a three-time UW-Stout alumnus recognized with a lifetime achievement award from the Wisconsin Association for Career and Technical Education as well as UW-Stout’s Distinguished Alumni Award, will serve as guest alum speaker. Three graduating students—Noah Rosenberger (B.S. hotel, restaurant and tourism management), Sumnima Devkota (B.S. psychology), and Cory Bloomer (M.S. risk control and safety management)—will also speak during their respective ceremonies.
Music for the ceremonies will be performed by an octet of UW-Stout choir members under the direction of Jean Enyeart. Attendees are encouraged to share comments and photos using #StoutGrad2026 on social media platforms.
