The Algoma Community Wellness Center is excited to announce the Algoma Community Kayak Night on August 31, 2021 at 5pm.
Thanks to the Center’s friends at Bay Shore Outfitters, the summer can be closed out on the water!
If renting, the event will begin at the Bay Shore Outfitters rental site off the 2nd St. bridge in Algoma, WI. Transportation will then be provided to Blahnik Park where you will be fitted for lifejackets and kayaks. The group will then paddle down the Ahnapee River back to the rental facility and enjoy snacks and refreshments thanks to Bay Shore Outfitters.
You are welcome to bring your own kayak as well! If you bring your own kayak please meet at Blahnik Park for roughly a 5:30pm departure. Transportation will be provided back to Blahnik Park following the paddle.
If you are renting the cost is $15 cash at the Algoma Community Wellness Center, 1715 Division St. Liability must be completed and signed upon payment. We are capping the event at 20 people (Mix of Single and Double Kayaks) or August 30, 2021, whichever comes first.
