The Milwaukee Brewers took on the Chicago Cubs in a three-game weekend series from Sept. 17 to 19, seeking to extend their winning streak against the team, according to a report by the Wausau Daily Herald.
The Brewers won the first two games, 8-5 and 6-4, but lost by 6-4, in the third.
"Give lo another gold glove yo," Francesca Hong stated on Twitter following a catch by Brewers' center fielder Lorenzo Cain.
The Cubs, who had lost 11 straight games against the Brewers this season, rebounded in the third weekend game with five runs in the eighth inning, securing their win.
The Brewers' next challenge will be to hold their ground against the Cardinals in order to maintain their chances of winning the NL Central.
When the Brewers last played the Cardinals on Sept. 3-5, they lost the first game of the series but won the next two.
