The U.S. won the 43rd Ryder Cup, and it was possible because Wisconsin native Steve Stricker led the team and helped unlocked all their talent. They won the match in a way that has not been seen in at least the past 40 years.
"It's been the greatest honor of my career to represent the United States as @RyderCupUSA Captain. I can't wait to get started on Friday and watch this special group of players compete in front of my fellow Wisconsinites," Stricker tweeted.
Stricker, captain of the 2021 team for the Ryder Cup, led his crew to victory in his home state of Wisconsin over the European team.
The team won by a record 19-9 margin, mostly attributed to Stricker's ability to bring out the raw talent of all of his team members.
The European captain also admitted that whatever Stricker's plan was, he did it right. Stricker changes everyone's view on how a leader should operate and set a new example in front of the world.
