Franklin median home prices rose by 36.8% in April 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2017 in Franklin rose by $57,150 while total sales decreased by 8.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2017, there were 64 homes sold, with a median sale price of $212,500 - a 36.8% increase over the $155,350 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 70 homes sold in Franklin in April 2016.

The median sales tax in Franklin for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $5,881, approximately 2.8% of the median home sale price for April 2017.
