How did home prices perform in Cambridge during the second half of 2017?

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Cambridge fell by $94,500 while total sales increased by 42.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 40 homes sold, with a median sale price of $142,950 - a 39.8% decrease over the $237,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 28 homes sold in Cambridge in the second half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Cambridge for 2017 was $3,603. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,606. This marks an decrease of 0.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.5%.
