The second half of 2017: Blue Mounds experienced a 9.5% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Blue Mounds rose by $21,542 while total sales decreased by 66.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $248,942 - a 9.5% increase over the $227,400 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 15 homes sold in Blue Mounds in the second half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Blue Mounds for 2017 was $4,897. In 2016, the median sales tax was $4,458. This marks an increase of 9.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2%.
