Median home prices in Windsor rose to $266,500 in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Windsor rose by $39,500 while total sales increased by 13.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 158 homes sold, with a median sale price of $266,500 - a 17.4% increase over the $227,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 139 homes sold in Windsor in the second half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Windsor for 2017 was $4,399. In 2016, the median sales tax was $4,435. This marks an decrease of 0.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.7%.
