Falling home prices in Dane in August 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2018 in Dane fell by $138,700 while total sales increased by 150%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2018, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $83,300 - a 62.5% decrease over the $222,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Dane in August 2017.

The median sales tax in Dane for 2018 was $4,625. In 2017, the median sales tax was $4,429. This marks an increase of 4.4%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 5.6%.
