Median home prices in Oregon rose to $231,000 in August 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2018 in Oregon rose by $11,650 while total sales decreased by 9.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2018, there were 38 homes sold, with a median sale price of $231,000 - a 5.3% increase over the $219,350 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 42 homes sold in Oregon in August 2017.

The median sales tax in Oregon for 2018 was $4,767. In 2017, the median sales tax was $4,607. This marks an increase of 3.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.1%.
