Pricing for the median home in Sun Prairie increased during February 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in February 2018 in Sun Prairie rose by $63,000 while total sales decreased by 12.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In February 2018, there were 42 homes sold, with a median sale price of $255,900 - a 32.7% increase over the $192,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 48 homes sold in Sun Prairie in February 2017.

The median sales tax in Sun Prairie for 2018 was $4,961. In 2017, the median sales tax was $4,696. This marks an increase of 5.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.9%.
