Pricing for the median home in Oregon increased during January 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2018 in Oregon rose by $60,700 while total sales increased by 3.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2018, there were 29 homes sold, with a median sale price of $289,900 - a 26.5% increase over the $229,200 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 28 homes sold in Oregon in January 2017.

The median sales tax in Oregon for 2018 was $4,767. In 2017, the median sales tax was $4,607. This marks an increase of 3.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.6%.
