Dane home prices fell in December 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in December 2017 in Dane fell by $84,000 while total sales increased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In December 2017, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $190,000 - a 30.7% decrease over the $274,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Dane in December 2016.

The median sales tax in Dane for 2017 was $4,429. In 2016, the median sales tax was $4,304. This marks an increase of 2.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.3%.
