Pricing for the median home in Brooklyn increased during November 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in November 2017 in Brooklyn rose by $7,100 while total sales decreased by 40%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In November 2017, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $175,000 - a 4.2% increase over the $167,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Brooklyn in November 2016.

The median sales tax in Brooklyn for 2017 was $4,086. In 2016, the median sales tax was $4,162. This marks an decrease of 1.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.3%.
