Sun Prairie median home prices rose by 4.9% in November 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in November 2017 in Sun Prairie rose by $10,650 while total sales decreased by 23.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In November 2017, there were 55 homes sold, with a median sale price of $228,000 - a 4.9% increase over the $217,350 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 72 homes sold in Sun Prairie in November 2016.

The median sales tax in Sun Prairie for 2017 was $4,696. In 2016, the median sales tax was $4,570. This marks an increase of 2.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.1%.
