Marshall home prices rose in September 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2017 in Marshall rose by $66,900 while total sales increased by 16.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2017, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $214,900 - a 45.2% increase over the $148,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Marshall in September 2016.

The median sales tax in Marshall for 2017 was $3,806. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,529. This marks an increase of 7.8%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.8%.
