July 2017: Home prices in Black Earth increased

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2017 in Black Earth rose by $14,200 while total sales decreased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2017, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $179,900 - a 8.6% increase over the $165,700 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Black Earth in July 2016.

The median sales tax in Black Earth for 2017 was $3,294. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,486. This marks an decrease of 5.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.8%.
