July 2017: McFarland experienced a 1.9% drop in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2017 in McFarland fell by $5,100 while total sales increased by 66.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2017, there were 25 homes sold, with a median sale price of $269,900 - a 1.9% decrease over the $275,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 15 homes sold in McFarland in July 2016.

The median sales tax in McFarland for 2017 was $5,027. In 2016, the median sales tax was $4,864. This marks an increase of 3.4%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.9%.
