May 2017: Cross Plains experienced a 4% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2017 in Cross Plains rose by $10,500 while total sales decreased by 18.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2017, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $275,500 - a 4% increase over the $265,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 11 homes sold in Cross Plains in May 2016.

The median sales tax in Cross Plains for 2017 was $4,899. In 2016, the median sales tax was $4,671. This marks an increase of 4.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.8%.
