April 2017: Fredonia experienced a 26.2% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2017 in Fredonia rose by $45,400 while total sales decreased by 42.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2017, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $219,000 - a 26.2% increase over the $173,600 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Fredonia in April 2016.

The median sales tax in Fredonia for 2017 was $2,920. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,879. This marks an increase of 1.4%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.3%.
