Wisconsin Family Action used the X platform to express their concerns about classroom "indoctrination." The post comes in response to a local elementary school teacher in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin, who started teaching students about "preferred pronouns."

"Indoctrination has no place in the classroom," the organization said.

On their post on the X platform, Wisconsin Family Action shared a retweet from Scarlett Johnson, a member of Moms for Liberty Wisconsin and a parent advocate. Johnson's post showcased a book that an unnamed elementary school teacher reportedly played a YouTube video of for 6-year-old students. The book, titled "What Are Your Words?" conveys the idea that individuals can have pronouns that change depending on their feelings, such as he/him, she/her, and they/them, according to X.

"Parental Rights erased in Wisconsin: 6-year-olds in Cottage Grove, WI were showed this YouTube video discussing Gender Identity PRONOUNS called "What Are Your Words?"," said Johnson in her post, according to X. "After the video, the teacher had the 1st grade class sit in a circle and told each child to say their "preferred pronouns." "There was absolutely zero communication from the school or the district prior to this happening and zero communication afterward."

"Uncle Lior knows how important my words are to me because I am always growing and changing, and some of my words change with me," reads an excerpt from the book, according to Johnson's post on X. "So every time they visit, they ask, 'What are your words, Ari?'"

"Do you want that lesson taught to your six-year-old?" asked Johnson, referring to another statement from the book, "My pronouns are like the weather, they change depending on how I feel."

Moms for Liberty is a nationwide parental advocacy organization with over 200 chapters, including those in Ozaukee, Milwaukee, and several more in Wisconsin. The organization advocates for parental rights and frequently voices concerns about topics such as "gender ideology" for children, according to Moms for Liberty.

Wisconsin Family Action is a nonprofit organization dedicated to upholding pro-family ideals and promoting "Judeo-Christian principles and values" in Wisconsin. They actively support marriage, life, religious freedom, and school choice, according to Wisconsin Family Action.
