April marks New Homes Month, and the Wisconsin Builders Association (WBA) is providing guidance to homeowners on selecting the right home builder. This initiative aims to help individuals protect what is often their most significant financial investment.
"Home builders use similar tools and materials, however not all professionals are alike when it comes to training and customer service," stated Jim Doering, WBA President. He emphasized the importance of finding a builder whose business approach aligns with the homeowner's preferences to ensure a smooth building process.
When meeting with potential builders, homeowners should ask about the builder's professional experience to determine if they are suitable for their project. Additionally, visiting model homes or participating in local Parade of Homes events can provide valuable insights into a builder's work.

The Wisconsin Builders Association represents 21 local associations across the state. The organization advocates for 4,000 members in the home building industry to maintain affordable housing options for Wisconsin families. It has been protecting the American Dream for over 75 years.
