FOX CITIES CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: Statewide Drive-Thru Job Fair Takes Place 12-4 pm Today; Sites in Oshkosh and Green Bay

Drivthrujobfair

Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on July 15

This is one last notice to remind individuals across Wisconsin about the Statewide Drive-Thru Job Fair planned at 11 locations from 12-4 pm today (Wednesday, July 15). This event has been planned by Wisconsin’s 11 workforce development boards under the umbrella of the Wisconsin Workforce Development Association.

Locally, job center staff will be distributing packets at the Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce, 120 Jackson Street, Oshkosh; and Riverside Ballroom Parking Lot, 1560 Main Street, Green Bay.

While Wisconsin continue to suffer with record unemployment and the closure of most of its job centers, this drive-thru job fair is designed to get information about open roles into the hands of those seeking a new role. A reminder that we want to help you with your job search and want to keep you safe!

  • You won't need to exit your car and kindly wear a mask.
  • You'll receive a bag with positions available at local companies that are hiring now and they are tailored to your region;
  • When you arrive, follow the traffic flow and wait patiently while others are served;
  • There will NOT be anyone who can assist with Unemployment Insurance claims at this event and we ask that only those seeking a new role stop by for a packet;
  • There is a limited supply of packets available - first come, first served.
The Oshkosh and Green Bay drive thru job fairs are just two of 11 taking place across the state on the same date. Information about all the events can be found at the following link: https://www.wwda.org/drive-thru-job-fair.
