39th Annual Greater Green Bay Chamber Golf Classic

Monday, August 31, 2020

Northbrook Golf & Grill

One course, 18 holes of golf. A full day of networking opportunities with a worthy client, prospective client or star employee.

Join the Greater Green Bay Chamber for a day on the fairways at Northbrook Golf & Grill. This event includes 18 holes of golfing, breakfast, lunch and dinner (we will practice social distancing), as well as raffles/contests on all holes, all in support of the Greater Green Bay Chamber. Back again this year is the Wipfli Ball contest.  See how long you can keep it in play!  All who survive and end the round with the Wipfli Ball are entered into a drawing for a prize.

Chamber Golf Outing COVID-19 Preparedness Plan:

Player and Staff Health

A verbal health screening will be conducted upon your arrival. We will not be doing temperature checks.

If you are experiencing any symptoms associated with COVID-19 such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath, we ask that you remain home.

If you have been exposed to a person with confirmed COVID-19 within the last 14 days, we ask that you remain home.

Handshaking is discouraged. We recommend air-fives and elbow bumps.

 Golf Format

The Golf Classic will be held completely outdoors.

To remove the crowd gathering common with shotgun starts, we will place all golf carts 6 feet apart.

There will be no after party. Winners will be notified the following day and we will arrange pick up for prizes.

 Carts

Two carts per team, walking is encouraged.

Driver and passenger(s) of carts should assign placement to remain consistent throughout the game. Driver to remain driver; passenger to remain passenger on same cart.

 Games on the Course

Games at sponsor holes must be sanitized between groups.

Players must sanitize hands before playing.

Strongly encourage players to do their best to maintain social distancing.

 Food and Beverage

To continue the limiting of crowd gathering, meals will be served as individually boxed.

Lunch will be distributed between 10:00am and 2:00pm.

There will be no after party. Winners will be notified the following day.

Beverage carts will be available.

 Safety Precautions and Public Spaces

Chamber will provide a limited-contact registration with six feet social distancing observed.

Masks and gloves are not required but will be encouraged.  

There will be ample sanitation stations outdoors.

The lobby bathrooms in the clubhouse will be open but limited to number of people at one time.

Course staff and Chamber staff will conduct extra sanitizing of restrooms, touch points, and public spaces throughout the day.

Open-lid waste bins with be placed throughout the course.

Hand sanitizer pumps will be available at every hole and at registration.

FOURSOME PACKAGE($150 per person or $600/foursome)* Includes 18 holes of golf with cart, free putting contest, use of driving range, contest and prize on every hole, refreshments on the course, lunch, dinner (Broasted Chicken & Beef Tips Dinner) and raffle/door prizes.

Schedule of events:

9:30 a.m.             Registration

                              Putting Contest

                              Driving Range open for free unlimited balls

 

10:30 a.m.           Foursomes to designated holes

                              SHOTGUN START (four-person scramble)

10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.       Lunch at turn      

3:30 p.m.            Dinner will be carry out
