The Wisconsin Assembly Committee on Campaigns and Elections has announced a Dec. 11 meeting to be held on election “transparency.”
Committee chairman State Rep. Ron Tusler (R-Harrison) said citizens deserve a hearing.
“The goal of the ongoing investigation is transparency,” Tusler said in a statement. “Wisconsin voters deserve fair and accurately counted elections. I want you to know that their vote counted. I look forward to hearing from eyewitnesses, experts and elections officials about alleged issues in the Nov. 3 election.”
The hearings will be held at the state capitol. Visitors will be allowed to attend.
“The first public hearing by the Assembly Committee on Campaigns and Elections regarding the investigation into numerous irregularities with the 2020 general election is set,” Tusler said. “It will take place on Friday, Dec. 11 that the Wisconsin State Capitol.”
A postal worker in Madison last week said “something profoundly wrong happened” with mail-in ballots in the election.
One poll watcher said once they self-identified as a Republican they were disallowed from properly viewing the vote tabulation.
County clerks who certified absentee ballots were allegedly provided improper information by the The Wisconsin Elections Commission.
The Trump campaign also filed a lawsuit regarding voting machines.
