CITY OF MIDDLETON: Request to Rezone - Reduce Setbacks For Furniture Store

City of Middleton issued the following announcement on June 1.

Request to Rezone 3600 Venture Avenue

Keven Schmidt (Dream Kitchens, 5117 Verona Road, Madison) has applied to amend the Planned Development District – General Implementation Plan pertaining to this property to allow a home furnishing store incorporating a showroom and warehouse with the building setbacks significantly reduced from the minimum distances listed in the existing zoning regulations. The original GIP lists research and office uses for this parcel. 

Description of property to be rezoned:  

Lot 3 of Certified Survey Map No. 14341, recorded in the office of the Dane County Register of Deeds as Document No. 5268359, in Vol. 98, Certified Surveys, pp. 57-61. 

Parcel Number 255-0708-022-9130-2

During the hearing, all interested persons will have an opportunity to speak or register their opinion. Statements may also be provided to City staff by 4:30 p.m. on the day of the hearing. The Plan Commission may take action following the hearing.
