De Forest Area School District issued the following announcement on June 10.
The new pool at the high school will be open this fall, and we will be hiring lifeguards!
Here’s an exciting opportunity for DeForest Area High School students to become lifeguard certified at a DISCOUNTED rate. A typical lifeguard class costs $200-$250 . . . BUT in a partnership with the Cambridge Pool and Cambridge Community Activities Program a FULL face-to-face American Red Cross Lifeguard certification course is being offered to DeForest Area High School students for $100. This discount is only available for 10 DAHS students and space is limited.
