Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers recently had an opportunity to show off his Brewers bobblehead collection in an interview with Spectrum News 1.
"It’s always a good day when I get to share my bobblehead collection," Evers wrote in an Oct. 18 Twitter post.
Evers grew up being a fan of the Brewers and he recounted how his mother would stay up late to hear the final score of the game and leave him a note for when he woke up in the morning, according to Spectrum News 1.
The governor doesn’t hesitate in naming Hank Aaron as one of his favorite bobbleheads.
“I can remember back in 1957 when the Braves won the World Series, and I would say that's probably my favorite and, obviously, he's a player that kind of epitomizes what it is to be a professional athlete,” Evers told Spectrum.
Evers started his collection when the Brewers first moved to Milwaukee and someone gifted him a bobblehead. He continues to add to his 30-some piece collection as a way to remember the team and their history.
“It's just a good history, a good remembrance of good times and good games,” Evers said, according to Spectrum.
