Home prices increased in Shorewood during the first half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2020 in Shorewood rose by $81,925 while total sales increased by 21.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2020, there were 68 homes sold, with a median sale price of $403,175 - a 25.5% increase over the $321,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 56 homes sold in Shorewood in the first half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Shorewood for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $9,693, approximately 2.4% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2020.
