How did home prices perform in Franklin during the second half of 2018?

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in Franklin rose by $15,252 while total sales increased by 2.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were 471 homes sold, with a median sale price of $237,500 - a 6.9% increase over the $222,248 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 460 homes sold in Franklin in the second half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Franklin for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $5,881, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2018.
