Rising home prices in Franklin in the first half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2018 in Franklin rose by $900 while total sales increased by 1.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2018, there were 425 homes sold, with a median sale price of $230,800 - a 0.4% increase over the $229,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 417 homes sold in Franklin in the first half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Franklin for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $5,881, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2018.
