Home prices increased in West Allis during the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in West Allis rose by $9,800 while total sales decreased by 3.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 872 homes sold, with a median sale price of $129,800 - a 8.2% increase over the $120,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 902 homes sold in West Allis in the second half of 2016.

The median sales tax in West Allis for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $4,007, approximately 3.1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2017.
