What happened to the median home price in Milwaukee during the first half of 2017?

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2017 in Milwaukee rose by $2,550 while total sales increased by 8.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2017, there were 2,974 homes sold, with a median sale price of $85,200 - a 3.1% increase over the $82,650 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 2,730 homes sold in Milwaukee in the first half of 2016.
