Median home prices in Franklin rose to $229,900 in the first half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2017 in Franklin rose by $27,800 while total sales decreased by 9.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2017, there were 417 homes sold, with a median sale price of $229,900 - a 13.8% increase over the $202,100 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 459 homes sold in Franklin in the first half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Franklin for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $5,881, approximately 2.6% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2017.
