Home prices increased in Milwaukee during September 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2020 in Milwaukee rose by $29,250 while total sales increased by 17.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2020, there were 1,182 homes sold, with a median sale price of $143,250 - a 25.7% increase over the $114,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 1,009 homes sold in Milwaukee in September 2019.

The median sales tax in Milwaukee for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,981, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for September 2020.
