Pricing for the median home in Milwaukee increased during August 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2020 in Milwaukee rose by $19,950 while total sales decreased by 6.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2020, there were 1,070 homes sold, with a median sale price of $134,950 - a 17.3% increase over the $115,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 1,149 homes sold in Milwaukee in August 2019.

The median sales tax in Milwaukee for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,981, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for August 2020.
