March 2019: Milwaukee experienced a 10.6% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in March 2019 in Milwaukee rose by $9,375 while total sales increased by 23.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In March 2019, there were 880 homes sold, with a median sale price of $97,875 - a 10.6% increase over the $88,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 715 homes sold in Milwaukee in March 2018.

The median sales tax in Milwaukee for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,981, approximately 3% of the median home sale price for March 2019.
