Franklin home prices rose in August 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2018 in Franklin rose by $53,000 while total sales increased by 22.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2018, there were 109 homes sold, with a median sale price of $263,000 - a 25.2% increase over the $210,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 89 homes sold in Franklin in August 2017.

The median sales tax in Franklin for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $5,881, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for August 2018.
