Home prices decreased in Black Earth during the first half of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2021 in Black Earth fell by $20,750 while total sales increased by 59.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2021, there were 35 homes sold, with a median sale price of $133,000 - a 13.5% decrease over the $153,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 22 homes sold in Black Earth in the first half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Black Earth for the most recent year with available data, 2020, was $3,835, approximately 2.9% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2021.
