Oregon median home prices rose by 21.1% in the first half of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2021 in Oregon rose by $55,745 while total sales decreased by 3.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2021, there were 156 homes sold, with a median sale price of $319,500 - a 21.1% increase over the $263,755 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 161 homes sold in Oregon in the first half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Oregon for the most recent year with available data, 2020, was $5,207, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2021.
