Windsor median home prices rose by 27.3% in the second half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in Windsor rose by $71,000 while total sales decreased by 10.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were 156 homes sold, with a median sale price of $331,000 - a 27.3% increase over the $260,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 175 homes sold in Windsor in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Windsor for 2020 was $5,636. In 2019, the median sales tax was $5,473. This marks an increase of 3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.7%.
