The first half of 2020: Windsor experienced a 7.4% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2020 in Windsor rose by $21,350 while total sales decreased by 6.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2020, there were 126 homes sold, with a median sale price of $311,250 - a 7.4% increase over the $289,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 135 homes sold in Windsor in the first half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Windsor for 2020 was $5,636. In 2019, the median sales tax was $5,473. This marks an increase of 3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.8%.
