How did home prices perform in Sun Prairie during the second half of 2019?

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Sun Prairie rose by $5,250 while total sales increased by 2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 510 homes sold, with a median sale price of $255,500 - a 2.1% increase over the $250,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 500 homes sold in Sun Prairie in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Sun Prairie for 2019 was $5,471. In 2018, the median sales tax was $4,961. This marks an increase of 10.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.1%.
