Middleton home prices fell in the second half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2019 in Middleton fell by $25,250 while total sales decreased by 10.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2019, there were 253 homes sold, with a median sale price of $330,000 - a 7.1% decrease over the $355,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 283 homes sold in Middleton in the second half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Middleton for 2019 was $6,484. In 2018, the median sales tax was $5,924. This marks an increase of 9.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2%.
